Look at this analogy, the most skillful footballers in the world came out of Brasil in the 70s 80s when pitches there were atrocious.
This was often given for the reason of their skill level as they had to adjust to bounce and basic skills so much quicker to succeed.
Think Sammy is digging down the wrong route here and just another example of his really poor thought process.

Game after game too many of our players get out playing a shot without moving their feet. All batsmen, even the greats, have issues with the ball pitched in the corridor of uncertainty. However, our batsmen seem to really struggle with that delivery.
