History of the game . No one would ever dream about that.

On the professional point of view this is the highest level . To play here you have to be mentally and technically prepared to handled any situation.

Toughest debut a batsman will ever experience. Pink ball, under lights against the #1 bowling attack in the world.

I wonder how many of those deliveries he was even able to see. smile

He gets a pass from me - earned his spot and came in as an opener (which is not his spot) and was facing the #1 pink ball test bowler. He will learn.

Very very tough. And to open also . Hopefully he will benefit positively from this experience.

Kevon should have done like that 18 y.o when big men ask him to open against the Aussie in 55.

Just swing away.lol

He was a sacrificial lamb. But that being said he needs work and lots of it! Worse of all Reifer is not the one to do that remedial work. Neither does he have any proven motivational skills.

I told him to catch a cold.
But which coach will put a middle order batsman to open on test debut?

He gets a pass from me as well because he was a nervous debutant. But last night at the beginning of Anderson's innings I said to a friend that as soon as Starc bowls a ball at the stump Anderson would be dismissed.
