I remember Hope as a nervous debutant opening the batting with Kraigg at Kensington.
I was impressed with Hope's keeping yesterday, but one of the things I noticed was that he had to dive several times down the legside to prevent byes. I said to myself at the time that keeping yesterday was taking a toll on him. Anyway, Imlach is still our best keeper for my money.
