He had his chances . Time for others . McKenzie failed miserably all year.

So take a seat and let young Anderson take his opportunity

As usual the ones not in the starting eleven are the better options until they get selected. Six of one half a dozen of the others. Don't get me wrong am still hopeful that kirk will come good in time because I think he has some talent.

If selectors were confident to select at least two totally inexperienced young test players to face one of the best test bowling units in the world, wouldn’t it have been better to select a batsman who at least already proven that he is capable of dominating the Australian bowlers?

What are you talking about? Do you just deal with reality or just have a vivid imagination? There are stats on the test matches last year between Australia and West Indies, when Kirk McKenzie top scored with a 34.5 batting average. So far, no WI batsman are even close to that average against Australia.

So what about after the Australia tour and 1st season.

Let me remind you shiv failed in his last few test matches with An average above 50 and they drop his ass.

I have nothing against McKenzie . I actually like him but failure is a failure he need to work on his game

Let other have a chance

Failure?? Just last year the man averaged 34.5 batting average against Australia, noticed that none of our current batsmen are even close to that batting average and you are talking about failure, when most of our batsmen are failing against the Australian bowlers?? That’s crazy talk!!

Slippy - this is a serious question, are you related to Kirk or went to school/church with him or grew up in the same community?

Australia is the team we are currently playing and if a player only a few months ago average 34.5 playing against the same Australia team then it should have been a non-brainer, considering that we have no top class batsmen and definitely no batsmen so far with that kind of batting average against Australia even close to that average, that’s my argument, we are not talking about any other test teams than Australia.

Don't gobble every bait Sudden throws. Player mgt is key but dese men in CWI not the best at it.
NB Gayle was dropped in his 4th test and 1st in England after playing well vs Zim at home. After seeing Kirk's flaw to the swinging ball they should have protected [dropprd] him in England.
After Sars masterful debut series vs Pak he was sent home from Oz after 1 test failure and replaced by Marlon. Preserving the confidence of young talents extremely important?
