Why does Alzarri bowls

Short pitch deliveries most of the time when he could be pitching the ball up and take more wickets??

He might be understanding his role more now he has proper bowlers around him

He is pushing the batsman back so he can throw in the length delivery!

Yes I understand that genius, but he is guilty of his over reliance on short pitch bowling with meager returns.

Yeah indeed. And now you csn see his demeanor changes like when Smith was basically dropped he just came back and got home.

Was actually discussing that on phone. So many short balls mean he waste deliveries which negatively impact his S/R and the team's ability to.bowl out the opposition quicker. A few less short balls are still capable of setting batsmen up.
