ironically most of these guys did not perform well in the fc tournament. Of the top four run getters this season, only one has played a test. i told you hope would not make after the two innings he played against tt which was also an all pace attack. chase as well struggled in that game. kraig, well....lollol
.

Jump high and jump low and it will make no difference. Change as much as you like it will make no difference. There is NOT ONE technically proficient batsman in the West Indies. Playing more will not solve this problem These are hard stone and hardheaded men. And none of them are prepared to do the hard work like Kohli did to completely change his diet and exercise programme which he kept to 366 days per year or Shiv who spent 8 hours in the hit sun, batting with his personally bought bowling machine. The cupboard is empty never to be restocked. Few in the Caribbean really care and we oldsters in the diaspora must stop clinging to the glorious past of our youth.

There is a lot, too much wrong with the Regional FC season and matches.
Will go in more details in due time. I hope.
But consider this one fact. When the Academy team or teams beat up on a
Regional team or one of the Big 6, it speaks volumes.

I could not say it any better. It's always the ones not in the starting eleven who are the better options. Like you said, there is not one proficient test batsman in the region. We can call for all of the flavor of the Month homeboys all we want, it will not change a thing.

Flash in the pan. On a good day anything can happen. I played first class cricket and rarely made runs. But every now and then the ball would just hit the middle of the bat. But that did not make me a batsman.

Anderson was not at the top. Mohammed, Silva, Imlach and Hamilton were all ahead of him but none fell within Coach Sammy's plans for the series.
