like every eternal optimist on the board, i found the positives from the debacle:

1. Oz scarcely had to raise a sweat. Therefore laundry bills were lower.
2. With the numbers of spectators in the stands, very little risk of the new Covid variant spreading
3. Paint prove the theory that playing 100 test matches does not make you any better as a test player, thereby settling an argument that began with the first ever test match in the 1800s.
4. West Indies, the team with several innovations in test cricket eg calypso cricket now affectionally known as Bazzball and 4 prong pace attack, has just invented a new style of cricket, bowlers-only cricket. its success is yet to be proven though.
