Was a wiping g they took down under in the.early.70s

Perhaps this beating will.open the eye of the stakeholder of WI cricket and the road to building something competitive...

Let get the rising star to do the basics right....let's get the u19 to play good cricket and start batmanship at the academy

We can do this

WI cricket greatness was built on a talented pool of cricketers.

Today that pool is not deep and is, frankly, dried up.

How was the deep pool of talent of the past created? By sheer happenstance. There was no explicit grassroots plan to be the best in the world.

What there was though, was traditional cricket clubs, leagues, and cricket being played in schools, on roads, on beaches.

It does not take a genius to identify what it takes to increase participation in the sport.

Regardless of the perceived, real or not, inadequacy of the cricket boards, cricket needs to be rejuvenated at the grassroots level in every jurisdiction. Talent pool will improve and the cream will rise.

That's an important step forward.

I agree with you 100%, we cannot used the rest of the world methods, we have to develop our own as was done in the past
I also understand the hurt that we all are feeling.
