The reality bro is that we have gone backwards. Look how Bangladesh beat us 3-0 in St. Vincent.

220 would have done it I believe. DISGRACEFUL from the West Indies in those last 5 overs.

Holder to Abbott, 1 run,
dropped by the sub fielder. Dug into the surface outside off, Abbott mistimes the pull and
Jewel Andrew couldn't hold onto thatat deep backward square, couldn't hold onto that. Was a straightforward catch and he spilled it despite getting both hands to it

Yes it is, things just keep getring worse. The only way for the West Indies to improve is for it to be run like a club. Time to bring in players from overseas with Caribbean roots. Our cricket is broken and needs fixing. Like it or not, unless you are a diehard West Indian fan, people will continue to lose interest.

Last 16 balls - 7 runs and 4 wickets. That is criminal in any format of the game. West Indies were comfortably placed at 182/4, and then ran out of gas in the last 3 overs
We ckoke at key moments

Mitch Owen | Player of the Match: (on debut)
Happy to have the win, nice to contribute. Nice to join those great names (of David Warner and Ricky Ponting - players who got 50s on T20I debut). (ion his batting) For me, it was about trying to play positively and put the pressure back on the bowlers. Great to bat with Greeny, kept me nice and calm. First time batting with him. (On batting in the middle order) Not too much changed, I wanted to go out and hit a six first, swing hard and work it from there.

Mitch Marsh | Australian skipper:
Really good performance to enter the series. They started well with the bat, but the last 5 overs was outstanding. I think all the boys did well with their plans and they showed that they played a lot of T20 cricket. Any time you got a young kid that comes in and performs like that, it is always exciting. Hopefully we can keep doing that for us. Bowling performance at the back end of the innings and we kept our intent despite losing wickets, that was good to see.
