Jewel Andrew can’t catch either

Alzarri Joseph said Jewel Andrew is the best batsman in the Caribbean.

Can anyone weigh in on why Jewel is not playing in the under-19 competition. Won't it serve him better to get some game time?

He's here to learn from the seniors.

I feel he could learn from the seniors when the U19 tournament is done. I would rather him play the under 19 tournament that be part of this squad. I have no issues with him being in the squad and getting the odd game here and there, but not when he could be playing in the under 19 tournament and developing his skills. But what do I know.

During most of the U-19 Tournament he was with GAW in the GSL. Agreed he should be playing U-19 but he got worthwhile experience playing among Tahir, Gurbaz, Moeen Ali in the GSL.

Our system is shit with his talent he’s in the best place at the moment with the best players in a professional environment where he can learn quickly!!!

He could have gotten and would have gotten the similiar worthwhile experience when he plays in the CPL.

Lots of guys on the team not learning.

Jewel would have that opportunity to learn quickly another time. He is 18, series these days are a dime a dozen. Plenty of opportunity to learn. He should have been playing under 19 cricket.
