Above are the test match batting average for the entire squad of West Indies players to have played recently. The averages are for the last 12 innings batted for the majority of players, except for Chase, Hope, and Campbell, whom I used the most recent innings since return to Test cricket, and Jangoo, Imlach, and Anderson just played a handful of innings.

Our most "consistent" and "productive" run scorers have been Holder, Athanaze, Da Silva, Motie, and Warrican. Everyone else averages under 20. Greaves has been appalling, averaging worse than the bowlers! Chanderpaul was rightfully dropped, but Louis and Carty ain't doing much better!

Imagine Warrican averaged 0.75 in all the innings vs Australia. Based on his current 22.1, he probably would have topped the table if he knew how to hold a bat against Australia.

Greaves probably thankful Anderson is in that table.

He shouldn't be... Anderson played a single match. Compared to Greaves who had 18 innings.

Plus in one of those inning he had a 100*
