I never heard of this player; thanks for the video.

Attending school abroad. Some of the wickets he got were amazing.

I also read that a Larry Gomes is needed in West Indies cricket today by Lloyd.

Never saw him play either.

Imtiaz was the leg spinner

Jumadeen was left arm orthodox

Inshan Ali was the trump card. A left handed wrist spinner who had it all and on his day, bamboozled the best of them.

Inshan Ali was also an aggressive lower order batsman. Kind of like Sunil Narine.

He was also mercurial. Brilliant one day…….very ordinary the next 3.


A special talent indeed.

Harry Jo. A jovial character with talent for sure.

I suspect he loved the horses more than he loved cricket though

Inshan Ali is mostly forgotten because his Test career was unsuccessful and short, he was mostly a regional bully. His Test stats are not impressive at about 46 runs per wicket. It was reported that Guyanese Deonarine is married to his daughter. Imtiaz Ali was also a good regional bowler, but did not get much of a chance to play Test cricket
