We have a lot of work to do to get back our cricket to an acceptable standard.

Might look so but have not seen his size hold him back in the numerous times I have seen him play.
Pretty good left handed spinner also. His out-fielding is not a problem at all.

He is a very intimidating presents.

Did you watch the game?

I am happy today, wasn't a please we lost the first game, and was concern the trophy would end in in USA
Please CWI no more USA teams in our leagues split up the windwards and leewards

Ok, what upsets me is that they were allowed to have 2 teams and nobody complained, if Barbados had 2 teams everybody would have cried foul, we shouldn't allow the ICC to use us to develop American cricket I don't see anybody helping us to develop ours
If I was CWI I would reject it

I watched several Barbados games, and I am reminded of what Sir Everton told me.
Cricket in Barbados is an Amateur game, which was 75/76; it is still the same today.
Apart from Dorne, who came into the series among the runs this year in the T20 Cup.

Dorne, Trotman, Boucher, Cummins stand out in BCA T20 Cup averages
The club structure should be revisited, as the population cannot support a promotion/demotion program.
The youth program should have coaches for every criterion, not one or two coaches.
I was a member of Yorkshire. The reason I played every Saturday is that I was able to pay my club dues, not because of my performance; nothing has changed.

The level of performance brings me back to watching teams and players in the BCL.

Remember this is the same group who just won the U17 last year.

Been saying we have pretty good young players but we don't push them in Bim. These youths have to go to other regional teams and the Academy to continue to develop because we let a bunch of also rans continue to earn but never improve.

I think a senior Bim team would have a hard time beating a young team of

Why not??? The more cricket the better. There should be teams from Bermuda and Canada as well and soon we should be playing the Latin Americans in cricket. The improvement of teams like Nepal and PNG etc is because they play a lot of cricket at associate level. the more you play, the better you get even if the teams are on your level.

Tours can be organized for them as well we need to expose them internationally and I don't see why the BCA can't set up it own academy, we need to be producing test cricketers and responsibility is ours

The more cricket is better for sure but I prefer to develop st Vincent and st Lucia and Antigua and Dominica to a state where they have their own teams at our first class level, break them up into individual territories at the U19 level first and expose more Caribbean players this will serve us better in the long run
We are not rich or strong enough to develop other nations
Not when we getting bowled out for 27. why didn't USA( India jr) play in the Indian U19 league????

Let other countries deal with their own

I have never joined a crowd;
I choose my friends.
After 25 years, allyuh seem to want the same.
Now that the series is over, name any Barbados batsman who scored 300 runs, including a ton?
As I stated earlier, only Dorne can be talked about.

Having one good score after five innings does not make a player ready for a higher level.

Both Dorne and Carter scored over 300 runs. As a matter of fact by scoring 5o plus in the finals to Carter's 40 plus Dorne beat out Carter by 4 runs to be the top run getter in the Tournament.

Carter though sets the tone of the innings. He is a very explosive batsman. The type we have been lacking for many a year. Actually if The other opener Micah learn to value his hand more , he too scores freely. They walk out to take over the game. Something lost on our current professional players.

Haven't they been included some formats in the past? Competition need to get us better. Obviously Barbados knew they F-U in the first game but it also made them raise the level of their game in the rematch

I see that as a positive and maybe the other teams might have played them even harder next time around.

We tend to play the underestimating game rather easily. Just shows there is a whole lot of work to be done.

Pretty sure a WI U19 team selected off the tournament would easily defeat the US team.
