at the 2009 under 19 world cup second highest run scorer seems a lifetime ago. joe root is going on to be a all time great .kraigg has not reached the early expectations put on him and seems his career will end very modestly if it has not already

That headline is SO misleading.

Is like saying Andy Ganteaume outperform Don Bradman because he has a test batting average of 112.00

kraigg cannot bat. joe root can. problem is allyuh was acrtually listening to all those bajan commentators who are perpetually crying "we have found the messiah". heard it with rtn, kraigg, holder, miguel cummins who was supposed to be the next holy terror of WI pace bowling. They were right about Kemar and brian lara discovered fidel edwards

Jason Holder has turned out to be a world class allrounder.

Corey Collymore was an excellent seam bowler who initially bowled in the 90 mph range but then suffered a major back injury that forced him to remodel his action. Even then, he arguably became a better bowler. I have lots of time for Corey Collymore.

You talk about Fidel Edwards, but perhaps the Bajan pacer that was done the most harm by his board, in terms of negligence, was Jason Bennett.

That said…..to this day, many Bajans still downplay Fidel’s achievements, resenting what they viewed as Lara’s actions re: Fidel publicly threw the BCA’s neglect of Fidel in their face.

Interesting the commies today talking about Root and his career, spoke about about how he never stops learning and continues to improve in areas that he knows himself he has an opportunity.
Maybe Kraigg lost the will to improve or maybe he just lost confidence in his ability

This is accurate, he should have been afforded more opportunities

This is inaccurate.
Lara’s action regarding Fidel is not uncommon and certainly bajans were not upset, there was nothing absolutely wrong with Fidel’s route to the the West Indies team I recall learning about Wasim Akram being selected while he was a net bowler after impressing Miandad
