He has had a good run thank you Sammy
Your time is up
This asinine experiment is not working
Don Sammy needs to be removed as far away from west indies cricket as is possible
And whilst we are cleaning house remove Reifer Rawle and Chase
The aptly named Shallow should be removed immediately
Appoint Clive Lloyd as interim CEO to steady the ship with full authority to do a complete overhaull
Including hiring and firing as he sees fit

Which Good run?

We got bowled out for 27 in red ball cricket...and being murdered in white ball cricket.

What we are seeing is not just licks but very bad decision making in terms of team selection in all the different types of cricket.

He is obviously not up to the task of being the only selector as well a coach in all formats

Take him out of his misery NOW!

Dinas and Ganga have been trying to gain control of T&TCB for over a decade. The T&TCB constitution is against them; the outgoing directors still have a vote. In an election, Bassarath and his team still hold 12 votes granted to them as outgoing executives under the deeply flawed, undemocratic Constitution of the T&TCB. So they win.

It’s a cycle that’s become all too familiar: the ballots are cast, alliances counted, and yet, year after year, the result is the same. However fervent the campaign, however compelling the calls for change, the outcome is quietly predetermined by the very structure of the organization.

For Dinas and Ganga, the frustration is not just about personal defeat; it’s about running up against a system designed to resist new voices. The clause granting outgoing executives a dozen votes is more than a technicality—it’s a shield for the old guard, a means of ensuring continuity at the expense of genuine democracy.

Every election, Bassarath’s team walks in with an automatic advantage. Twelve votes, untouched by the will of the wider membership, swing the result before the first speech is made. In this environment, winning isn’t just difficult—it’s almost impossible. The constitution, once meant to protect stability, has become a barrier to progress.

Still, Dinas and Ganga persist. Their decade-long campaign is a testament to their commitment but also a reminder: until the constitution changes, the result likely never will.

The only way change can be accomplished is to get them on the CWI Board from a stakeholder's perspective.

Bassarath wants to be the next CWI president...he is the present VP.

I just hope none of them are allowed around the young players coming up. With faults so glaring from year to year and these coaches having such close looks at them and never correct anything is asinine.

I can see why class after class of young players never develop to international standards after being on par or above in some instances at junior level.

Clearly teaching is lost on this generation. Remember Lara would call up Sobers to have chats. I hope Marlon Samuels, Sarwan, J. Taylor and Roach are named as roving coaches and attached with the Academy teams going forward if available.

In these guys you saw how they knew the game and worked out how to make adjustments. Reifer had no clue how to so making him a batting coach is a travesty. Sammy bowled like Reifer batted both need to be gone!

The dottie definition of rising is a special one indeed.
