Did he expect to outlast the batsmen? The only way you stand a chance is to bowl them out. So as soon as the 4th wicket fell, you needed to continue with Joseph and or Holder. Your bowlers don't have enough control and accuracy to build pressure.

What Joseph did was disrespectful and should never be displayed in public. I think he is overrated, he is all pace with little control. Ambrose should have been working with him to perfect his craft but we always toss aside those that are moving West Indies cricket in the right direction

The coach can give guidelines but how is he going to direct the play based on changing conditions in the game?
Clearly Aljo and Holder had Australia under pressure. Hope eased the pressure by bringing in Shepherd.

BTW: These instincts were very successful.

I will not even entertain the question of good or bad captain. I have stated here for years that no captain can set a field to CWI bowlers. They have no discipline which translates into no control. They cannot bowl to a plan. It is as simple as that. We have no T20 bowlers. None.
