Fans speak of former players not needing coaches and becoming stars.
As a senior, I am always trying to learn and improve, which is why I have a dance and golf coach/teacher.
Seeing videos of a player makes it easier for teams to work on opponents.
Players can see flaws and work on them.
In 1960, Foffie Williams, coaching 12-14-year-olds old was at Wesley Hall primary school. How can one man teach over a thousand players in one 3 hours session?
With video, you are seen, which is why you need coaching to correct flaws and prepare for the opposition.

Agree......my take...any good professional is a student through out his career.....at different stages of career requires coaches to guide them ....not only technically but also mentally....the best of players, loose form....they go back.... work on them.... comeback stronger.....in early 2000, Tendulkar lost his form.....he just went back to his coach Achrekar... came back stronger.....
