West Indies have won the toss and have opted to field

Shai Hope:
It is a different coin. We are going to bowl. It will get dewy here under lights and that's why we will bowl. It was a quick turnaround, we learn from the past and carry that into this series. We have 3 spinners and 4 seamers, rest are batters. We back the replacements to come in and do the job.

Salman Agha:
The preparation has been outstanding and the boys are excited. It is a great opportunity for me and I am enjoying it, the guys have made my job easier. If we play well then we can beat any team. We have a good balance in our XI.

Pitch and Conditions:
"The boundary sizes - 78 meters down the ground, 66 and 63 on the square. There is a bit of grass, but it is rolled in and the surface looks very hard. Bat will dominate ball. The average first innings 167. I expect the bowlers to be under the pump," reckons Daren Ganga.

1.5
Holder to Sahibzada Farhan, FOUR, short and Holder rolls his fingers across the ball, banged halfway down and though Farhan is a tad early into the pull, he gets enough of a top-edge for the ball to fly over short fine and almost travel the distance

Akeal Hosein to Saim Ayub, FOUR, back to back fours. 97.9ks flatter and fraction short, Ayub is quick to pounce, he rocks back and pulls it in front of square. No one at deep mid-wicket to stop that

Akeal Hosein to Saim Ayub, FOUR, Ayub greets the spinner with a boundary. Fired quicker and at the stumps, Ayub sits down and sweeps it over square leg

Pakistan review! Farhan is given out LBW. He has a chat with Ayub and decides to challenge the decision. This looked close as he was struck on the back leg.

3.2
Shamar Joseph to Sahibzada Farhan, out Lbw!! Shamar strikes with his second ball. Farhan goes but does not take the review with him. 144.1ks good length ball and it skids across the surface, Farhan is deep in the crease and he attempts a wild heave across the line, misses and is struck on the back leg, the impact was around middle and leg, ball-tracking had it to be clipping leg-stump.!

Sahibzada Farhan lbw b Shamar Joseph 14(12) [4s-2]
