When a team is totally out of it like ours, the selector must take a good bit of the blame. But he tried a manoeuvre in the test team that did not work. The problem has to be that we simply do not have international standard players right now.

The buck has to stop some where. Sammy is culpable because he asked for complete control. Shallow and the Directors who agreed to this request are also liable.
They should all resign. All of our governments who aid and abet this nonsense that disgrace our great and treasured cricket legacy are also guilty.
But none will accept blame and liability and none will resign. Just another day at the office.

The questioning of Sammy's decisions will become more intense if his team loses badly against Pakistan in both the T20 and ODI's. I do think what is happening is completely his fault but he will be blamed for it. Apart from the slow start last night poor fielding cost them the game last night.
