Sammy had little to do with The T20 Championship wins. Gibson, Simmons and the seniors Ramdin, Bravo, Gayle, Marlon and Co. were the real strategists.
Sammy doesn't know a P.$$y from a pear. Present him with them and he'll F^&%$ the pear and eat the other.
Grades for yesterday
Charles-4 looked silly playing down the wrong line trying to hit to the onside full balls pitched way outside off.
Jewel 7 showed calm under pressure as a rookie, didn't have a senior partner nor coach to school him in not trying
to yam-lick balls outside off but rather stroke them and rotate strike to keep the rate up.
Hope-3.5- Didn't bowl Motie, allowed himself to be talked into sending Motie and not Rutherford at 4. Anything Motie can hit for 6 so too could Rutherford
what are you saving Rutherford for in a 120 ball per innings match?
Rutherford-5 Usually reliable but mostly absent, excused because given undue pressure from nonsense decisions.
Motie- Ungraded, not given opportunity to do his assigned job, he is and should not be assigned pinch-hitting regardless of type of spin-bowling attack
Romario- 6 contributed enough that if others did their part we could've won.
Chase- 5 for his bowling although even with the leftie going gungho Motie should still have tried for at least one over
Holder- 9 shows what is possible when things are done correctly such as hitting straight.
Hosien- 7 Reliable as is mostly
Shamar- 8.5 Adaptable, reliable, good. Was worried he'd try to change his lengths for white ball, miss and get tonked. Shows that good bowling is good bowling. Shows that most likely White Ball cricket will not negatively impact his red/pink ball bowling.
Blades-5.5 A trier who can be worked with.
Sammy-1 Bone-headed decisions in the batting order.
WI fielding-2 sloppy, sloppy, sloppy; fielding coach should be fired immediately and players put on notice that poor fielding (after rigorous practice) will come with consequences.
