Carty did not come in ahead of Rutherford , perhaps you meant Shepherd. Carty should be batting at the top of the order to be effective. Chase is a major concern as he is a bits n pieces player.

VOR do you really believe Carty can bat better than Chase or is more essential to this T20 team? You're trying to justify his selection even though he's out of Form and mediocre. Extra batter ina 120 ball innings when you have all-rounders?

This is t,20 cricket, in which Ford is better than Carthy in every department of the game, he is as good as Shepherd and Holder with the bat, and has more variation than shepherd with ball
