along with my party of 20 strong who jumped and waved them over the line…several were witnessing a match in person for the very 1st time..
Sat next to some Pakistani fans who were going back and forth with friendly banter as the lickit ebbed and flowed one way and then the next…

By the way - they charged us $35 for premium parking only to find out that the *premium* lot was already full..what a ripoff!

Going back to the interaction with the Pakistani fans..they were high-fiving my peeps at the end of the game….it dawned on me that this could only happen in cricket….in perhaps all other sports (with athletics being the only possible exception)…opposing fans rarely have that level of friendly rivalry..cheering vociferously for their team but graciously interacting with their rivals despite the result not being in their favor….
