I don't understand this tactic of delaying Holder's and Shepherd's entry. Shepherd faced only 3 balls and was left not out. Why send in Chase at that point. Only 6 overs was left and the run rate was almost 12. It's poor use of the batting we have. Better they had sent in Motie to pinch hit. The planning has been poor by the coach and captain.

Doesn't matter until WI find 1 or 2 in the top 6 who ca go at 189-220sr for at least7 overs.

Bad decision, the wrong man for that situation, I was surprised when I saw Chase coming in, Motei or Shepherd would have been the better move

No. Dressing room panic killed the game. On a slow wicket thats hard for a batsman to get his timing in you dont retire the batter thats been in for 12 balls in the 18th over.

Was probably wrong decision to send in Chase at that stage but worst decision to panic and retire him on this type of wicket and with the legspinner having one over to go. We keep getting the tactics wrong

Chase was not the man for the situation. Chase is better utilised when we are not playing catch up. It was poor decision making and it is one of the reasons why we lost
