Without a Marlon Samuels in the team, West Indies can no longer afford to play 10 versus 11 like when Sammy used to just go out to spin the toss and just clap for the rest of the game!!
reply

Marlon Samuels who averaged 32.97 in 207 ODIS when did Sammy have to rely on him for ODIS? We have three batsmen in this team with averages near or over 50 why would we need anyone like that Slacker! Original Yardie Slacker when it comes to ODIS. HA HA HA!

You would think that Marlon Samuels was a Viv Richards.

You starting to sound like Ganga!
Aren’t ODI rules more favorable to batsmen today than yesteryear, smaller grounds, less fielders outside the circle etc?!??

Yet, still good enough to LEAD West Indies to 2 World Cups with his epic twin-MVP performances, while we played 10 versus 11 with a parasitic passenger-claptain desperately hanging on to his coattailbig grin

Now, you wanna post the batting and bowling averages of the erstwhile "un- droppable" captain Daren Sammy - the alleged "allrounder" after whom a stadium was actually named?

Guy's so disingenuous!
Not a single Jamaican says King shouldn't be dropped, other WI players are just dropped but for him King The Jamaican must be dropped. His inferiority complex is rabid.
a. We're tops in 1st power play but dodges that King has contributed to that
b.King lacks ability to o nbat long yet he had the highest test score vs Oz and batted longer than most

King is a class talent maybe the adaptation of playing red ball cricket has messed up his game finding the balance but he does deserve to be given time.

Not a single Jamaican calling for him to be dropped as they are calling for others to be dropped or fired?

a. We're tops in 1st power play but dodges that King has contributed to that

That is a lie. Carlos B is saying we are top in the middle overs and the end which suggests that the Jamaican freeloader is holding us back at the top!

b.King lacks ability to o nbat long yet he had the highest test score vs Oz and batted longer than most

There he can take his time and bat, not try to play at pace where and out of his depth. The man averages less than 30 iin 55 innings. Sammy needs to take him out of his misery.

YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR AND A CLOWN!!big grin
King deserves to be dropped if he is not pulling his weight!!

By the way, I am still waiting you to furnish the Golden Childs career batting and bowling averages- in all formats.

Remember he was entrenched as captain in all formats and, therefore, a sure-pick!

(And while you are it, could you also share his qualifications as a coach, in terms of the prerequisite certification that was advertised as the minimum criterion for the job).

That bears no relevance on this matter as Sammy is not a current player. Current players need only apply please.

Focus, Jockstrap, focus. I know this 1st win since 1991 has you bamboozled too, but get yourself together!!

Freeloader King played his part well. $ammy retained him so that he could take (or share) the blame (by VOR) should the WI lose.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) WI came out winners so VOR doesn't have to defend $ammy's 'shared' freeloading.

All's good!

VOD enjoy the very rare series win for West Indies and keep quiet. I noticed that whenever King tops the batting, not a word or encouragement or congratulations from you but as soon as he fails then are so eager to criticize the player, it’s like you are just waiting for the player to fail. You are that type of insular and parochial cricket fan, helping in the destruction of WI cricket. The players are all very inconsistent at best, stop wasting your energy.

King played for the dots and when he did well for West Indies, VOR all over bawling about REVO improved him

No runs this ODI after doing well at the preceeding Test matches and coming back from injury, two face VoiceofTreason turn on him

Shameless

1-10 What we need now is to find another opener to partner Lewis . Sammy has showed a lot of faith in King but he has not repaid his faith in him. I say let Jewel open.
11-40 Sammy moved Hope to middle as he is our best player of spin and we are now # 1 in the world in this period.
40-50 With the foundation set from 11-40 , the work for the lower batters become easier and we are now # 1 here.

Coach Sammy speaks listen 4:20 onwards
