Not seeing anything on CWI YouTube page... just seeing a live scorecard on their website.

CWI don't have money to do coverage buh we could afford high level business trips for the big ones.. things really sweet for dem fellas rolleyes

Lots of promising youngsters in this Guyana squad...

Here's ah few..

1. Lomar Seecharran - an opener, he's just 13. Was the leading run scorer for Guyana in the last U15 tournament. Scored a ton in the U17 practice match

2. Shamar Apple - agressive wk/batsman... lots in common with Shefane. Think he's 14 or 15 and is already in the senior team setup, played a practice match with the GHE earlier this year.

3. Parmeshwar Ram, Adrian Hetmyer and Emmanuel Lewis... the young medium pace all-rounders. Ram opens the batting as well.

4. Romario Ramdehol - the skipper, a decent middle order batsman and bowls some useful off spin as well.

Was hoping to see the young leggie, Riaz Latiff in the squad. He was the leading wicket taker in the last regional U15, even took a hattrick. To me he is far better than his big brother who played in the breakout league.. but I guess the selectors went with someone else.

Not much cricket is being played in Guyana at the moment due to the rainy season. Think Berbice restarted last week or so. Nothing in Demerara as yet.

So he wasn't playing much cricket... I think he went to the Sir Garfield School tournament recently and scored couple 50s... he made 58* in the only U17 practice match too.

Is funny the other day I say a joker on social media saying WI shouldn't schedule matches on smaller islands. But you guys realiae no matter U15, U17 U19 matches being held in the smaller islands there's always proper coverage?

And I think a lot of it is because when we hosting anything we making aire we doing we best.

Hmm. I must commend the Saint Kitts/ Nevis cricket association for their great work in providing coverage in the recently concluded U-19 tournament. Enjoyed the live coverage.

Is live coverage provided for free in the small islands or CWI does pay for it?

Also, why is it that CWI are playing all of these youth tournaments in the small islands or T&T? When last did they play a youth tournament in Barbados, Jamaica or Guyana.

Is it because the president and VP are from the small islands and T&T?

Weren't they paid to stream the matches?

One could argue that Shallow is making sure his boys get extra money by live streaming all the matches in the small islands but not doing the same for the matches in T&T. lol

Bassarath don't have a say on the free money? lol

Awful batting from Guyana in response to the Windward's boys first innings.

Hopefully Apple and Hetmyer can put together a decent partnership.

Told you young Shamar is similar to Sherfane... good ton by the 15yr old. Don't think Sherfane could've hit it as hard and far when he was 15.

Hetmyer needs to convert those starts... this is his second year at the U17 level gotta kick on and make big ones.

The bowling is a major concern though. The spinners look ineffective. Not sure why they didn't play the young pacer from Pomeroon. I think he's quicker than Amsterdam. Hopefully in the next match he is in for one of the spinners.

Gibran Yacoob seem like the best player in this guyana team. He can also bat but he went in at #10 which is strange

The left arm spinner? I mean slow bowler?

He should be thankful that youngsters in the region can't bat anything slow... all he is doing if run up and lob the ball. He need a whole lot of work, I'm 100% sure I could find a better left arm spinner in Guyana.

It's also hard for him to bat higher in that XI... besides the night watchman who went in last night, the other guys are established batsmen that scores a lot of runs locally.

The only change to the batting order that I would make is Hetmyer to bat at 3 and Lewis move to his spot.

I see three youngsters scored centuries in each match big grin

Love to see that because we are really starved of "QUALITY" batsmen.

Yeah Bro. Great to see Shamar kick on and score that century.

I agree with you on Adrian needing to score big runs in these tournaments.

These guys need to develop that old school mentality to set your stall and bat all day. Make the bowlers work hard for every wicket.
