Seales has been phenonomal but Greaves has added some depth and sense to the batting.

Remember in this format WI has
Hope ave 50.24 142 matches
Rutherford 57.90 16 matches
Carty 46.71 40 matches
Lewis 36.75 70 matches

....so Greaves with Chase adds some depth to this good batting lineup

Don't forget Motie at 8, who has played some useful knocks. I would prefer Greaves to open instead of the inconsistent King, and with Shepherd not coming off recently, I would try another finisher or hitter of spin in the middle order. Pooran would've been ideal, but we still have Hetty and Jangoo, who both have decent strike rates. Jangoo had that century last year, but hasn't been tried much this year.

A player in the lower order batting at 7 or 8 avg 25.53 with a SR OF 108.85 in 31 matches is useful . Agreed.

Where is King going to bat, I don't see Shai leaving him out of the mix.

Small sample size and against tough opposition if I remember correctly, but Greaves as opener hasn't made double digits, he has succeeded at number 6, I wouldn't move him.

Jangoo is who I'd open with

Hetmyer is surplus to requirements at this point, leave him to T20s.

Yeah. Because we have so many resources to call on, that we could have surplus.....

I personally would not consider Hetmyer an automatic pick in ODIs for WI.

He's not an opener, he bats 5 or 6. Rutherford and Greaves are the incumbents with very good recent records batting at 5 and 6.

Hetmyer in the last 2 years, I admit, small sample size, but 5 innings 64 runs, HS 32, average 14, SR 110.

Hetmyer seems satisfied to be playing league cricket elsewhere, leave him and Holder there for ODIS.
Hetmyer may eventually replace one of the 16 below

Jangoo/ Jewel
Lewis/ King
Carty/ Athanaze
Hope
Rutherford
Greaves /Shepherd
Chase
Motie/ Forde
Seales
Shamar/
AlJo

Hetmyer may replace one of the alternates, but me, personally at this point in time would not put him in this XI or squad, my opinion, personal preference based on recent form/ viewing
