If out of control homicides and violence in islands with largest populations trend downward it gives hope for curbing senseless black on black killings in the region.

She cites a declining murder rate (did not indicate that this is a y-o-y and that there were 2 states of emergencies declared this year)
In spite of the 2 states of emergencies for the year (under separate administrations) for 2025 so far, including the current one, murder/homicides are actually up from 31 murders per month during the first four months of the year to 36 murders per month currently.
But carry on smafrtly, don't let facts get in the way of tribal perceptions.

Don't be foolish now ,there is no curfew..it's a very systematic SOE where the features are being used to enhance and maximize real operations in a meaningful way..what 'State' of what would you call El Salvador ? Whatever the 'state' the results are in the numbers..so whatever 'state' of what, it is its working, the numbers don't lie..I am here we are seeing the results..the right men are being hunted incarcerated and eliminated, psyche is being affected in a big way. There's a big difference with this SOE and others gone by..

Yes brother !! Have been observing yard too, just to go for the jugular and they seem to be intent on doing that here in T&T these days..new govt,new commish . The commish seems very intelligent proactive and resourceful..

Utter nomsense the monthly numbers are the lowest in years ! Up to December '24 there were 64 murders !! Its half or less than that for months now ! The math is very simple, you could even calculate it in your head while you type !
