To underscore Hercules’ achievement, Level III is widely regarded as the pinnacle, however, Level IV goes beyond and speaks to the ability to develop plans and excel in a modern high-performance environment.

Hercules’ Level Four qualification was completed through CoachEd Cricket, whose director is the renowned Gary Kirsten.

Hercules, a former all-rounder who played for Guyana from 2003 to 2007 and had stints in England and Australia, has built an impressive resume.

He has secured three successive Four-Day titles as a coach, along with a CPL and a Global Super League title.

“Cricket is always evolving, and while we as coaches are always asking players to evolve with the times, it is important that we as coaches also seek to evolve and learn modern best practices to help our players reach the peak of their abilities,” Hercules stated.

Happy for him. Hopefully he can successfully and effectively apply those techniques and skills learnt in the classroom to his students.

VOR missed that part..

Herco is a good coach... actually played a lot of cricket with him. He knows how to keep you motivated and to somehow get you to push harder at practice etc.

His training methods and how he goes about doing things are completely different from the older coaches in Guyana.

so CoachEd Cricket is an online certification program and not endorsed by the ICC

i dont know what kind of weight that carries

why even do it?
the CWI has a coaching program that partners with the ICC

Why shouldn't someone do it?

It's continued professional development and is for level 3 coaches who are already certified by the ICC!

So what if its not oficially recognised by the ICC? Isn't it something to make the individual better at what he/she do?

A quick Google search would show you the guys who are involved in CoachEd... here are a few names

1. Dravid
2. Fleming
3. Langer
4. Flower
5. Rhodes
6. Hussey
7. Moody

De list goes on... yeah, nobody shouldn't do it. Getting insights from those guys are useless!

No no no

Stop that

The certification program is a good thing

Like higher education certification, where it comes from has to matter

What do those names have to do with helping you become a qualified coach?
Not all students can teach, the names mean nothing, the program and what it offers does

So what if its not oficially recognised by the ICC?

Then we have no standards, anybody can say they got credentials b/c they got they paper from any certification program, it renders certification meaningless

Dude yuh can't read? It's for qualified coaches!

Coaches that have their level 3 certification... surely yuh can't be this dumb?

Do you know what is continued professional development?

It's not something an unqualified coach could say I will do.

So he completed his level 3 icc coaching certification
then went to get his level 4 at a non endorsed ICC certification?

make that make sense

Coaches that have their level 3 certification

i really not sure you or i know enough to say
coachEd has their own level 2-4 coaching program

the take away is that they ARE NOT ICC ENDORSED

that is important

As i go through this CoachEd website, things kinda weird, its completely online
At the end of the program you get a certification endorsed and signed by Gary Kirsten, but its a digital certification, so you have to find a printer and print it yourself

all this for $2750

So you think thats the only batch of guys that completed the level 3 certification in the WI?

Hercules was amongst the first batch of coaches in the WI to get the level 3. This was since 2022.

Same year the likes of Emrit, Chanderpaul, Miller etc. got theirs. All of them were in the same batch.

Not sure what your issue is... is a big issue because someone enhanced themselves?

Online coaching became very popular during Covid and has continued to be useful. Players/Coaches can live stream their sessions and get instant feedback. Whether we like it or not, online coaching is here to stay

The ICC training is online also, my question is about this Gary Kirsten program

And all of you should too, a non endorsed ICC training program could be completely worthless and a waste of time and money for these guys that want to improve the regions game....i actually want this to be a good thing, i just dont know if it is yet especially with that price tag

Its the accredited vs non accredited college.......you always want the accredited program

yall dont have any suspicions about it?
