Quite true. I am not too happy that Lisa Hanna is no longer
an integral part of the PNP. Bright people are needed to provide better things
for the Jamaica People and folks must know how to work with one another for
the best regardless of different methods and ideas. Common ground is key.
PNP was always the Party of Education and uplifting people and always attracted
wonderful talent from its Foundation.
The NDM was on a similar path. Pity that it has not been able to Grow to be a
Significant Factor in the Jamaican political environment. The 2-Party System
should not the End All and Be All in a Land that needs to profit from all its
talent.
But We are stuck with it and to our hurt in some ways.

Lisa challenged the old boy’s network and club thus her political death knell!!

In politics you have to know how to play politics - it’s a chess game!

One’s pretty face can be a blessing and a curse!

Knight files lawsuit

Former senator and Cabinet minister KD Knight has followed through on his threat to file a lawsuit against Health Minister and Jamaica Labour Party campaign chairman, Dr Christopher Tufton, for allegedly defaming him during a JLP mass rally held in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, on August 10.

Documents released to the media show that the suit was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday by attorneys from Knight's law firm, Knight, Junor and Samuels.

The claim states that Tufton "falsely, recklessly and maliciously and/or without reasonable probable cause, published and/or caused to be published a manipulated audio recording purportedly to be that of the claimant" in which defamatory words were spoken.

Yes. True. But she is still smarter, more savvy than 99 per cent of all the politicians.
And she is a visionary too and cares for folks.
The PNP was the right party for her..But we live in much different times and with
different value systems. NWM would have loved having her.smile

Lisa Hanna did HERSELF in. There were problems between she and constituency ppl from Day One. She was LITERALLY challenged by another woman early on. She won her seat by FOURTEEN votes. The writing was on the wall. She and ppl in the constituency were clashing left, right and centre. She was accused by PNP ppl in the constituency of being a POOR MP. Her former ties to the JLP-I don't think were helpful. People talk about how great she would have been as leader and how Jamaicans would have supported her. The JLP would have put a smear campaign that would've made the ones they used Portia blush. Ward 21. Her relationship with Panton and others. The situation with her Panton and her son. There was also the CG's report accusing her of nepotism. Yh would have worked like a charm.

If the PNP wins the election, a senate position would be beneficial for her, but she shared that she no longer holds an interest in politics.

I could see them convincing her to take it.
