Agreed he is a good Skipper. The losses were piling up, probably there was a shift in the dynamics in the dressing room. Time to move on as he has accepted his role as still a leader, just without the title.

alltime top Bajan skipper is Holford...then Bessie/Padmore....then we get to Browne.
Brooks and Stoute were the best of this era. Mayers/Reifer I suspect are better captains than Hope and Holder and Brathwaite. Chase should be automatic Bajan skipper nowadays as he beats up the regional level with bat and ball.
History will show allrounders make some of the best captains iro Barbados.
