The thing about Poo Poo as captain that I do not like is that he shows up his players on the field when they perform poorly. He was cussing Hosein last night after he bowled a poor delivery, and I have seen similar behavior in the past going back to when he was West Indies captain. He did not learn that from his mentor Polly because I don't remember every seeing Polly showing up his players like that.

I think captains are entitled to cuss players on the field for poor deliveries, dropped catches, and other mistakes if the captain never bowls poor deliveries, drops catches or makes other mistakes. Otherwise, keep you rass mout shut and deal with that stuff in the dressing room, in on-field team huddles or in some other discreet way without embarrassing the player. It's interesting that you mentioned Powell because he is one of the players that I remember Captain Poo Poo embarrassing on the field. Another one was Brandon King.
I remember Joshua DaSilva making a mistake behind the stumps once and the stump mike caught him saying that he was the worst wicketkeeper in the world. As someone who was not a fan of DaSilva's keeping, it was both disarming and endearing to hear what he said because I don't often hear cricketers or other sportsmen being self-critical.
