How the hell these men still getting wuk in CPL?

Both seem to have forgotten how to bat in lickit cricket - but they get game every time.

I suppose Shakib can also bowl but even his bowling is shyte these days.

Those ole pensioners are the ones who get the most... Tahir is the highest paid for GAW.

Shakib was a special signing so for sure he is probably their highest paid... Rossouw always fail in the CPL yet some of these franchises keep picking him every year.

Maybe dem fellas does get a cut from the players? big grin

You mean to tell me there were no other and better foreign players available other than these two?

They could have signed some Aussies in second grade domestic cricket who would perform better than these guys. And for cheap!

Just checked the draft and he is actually their second pick... so he's getting around 140k for the season.

Rossouw is thier 3rd pick...de man getting more than Evin, Fletcher, Waqar and Farooqi.

Maybe he giving someone a cut.. can't understand why a team would spend so much on him lol

GAW is paying far less for Mooen and he's a far better player.

It always amazes me how some teams in the CPL consistently select mediocre or best past their sell by date foreign lickit players.

And teams like GAW and Battyriders consistently select good foreign lickit players year after year.

They are privately owned franchises so it must be the team owners.

The GAW franchise is a money making machine for its owners as well as the local economy.

They have hotels, AirBnB's, bars, restaurants, tourist packages tailored specifically for CPL season in Guyana.

It's one of the reasons prices in GT have skyrocketed from everything to housing, food, booze, hotels, taxis, etc.

The mentioned players have name recognition on the International stage, and thus the matches will be easier to be marketed on TV. CPL gets a lot of money from TV and internet coverage.

Good post, that's what the owners of the franchises are going by, the numbers of these players, when the international audience tune-in to the matches, when the see Rossouw, Shakib and Moeen their expectations will be raised as all of these players were quality international players, it brings credibility to the CPL

Listen I'm sure more people tuned in to watch Rizwan make his Patriots debut than Rossuw. I hustled to see Riswan bat but didn't last long after i go there
Rossow was piss poor last year and basically played all the game, this year they dropping all kind of players around him to give him a game.
My next post on Patriots SM channel would to say this exactt same thing .
