I don't disparage any country for their colloquialism or accent. This forms part of national identity and uniqueness even if we speak the same language

At some point we likely have been amused by someone else's accent inferring that our own is the standard.

It is known that in Trinidadian dialect the penchant is to give the 'th' simply the 't' sound while in my island we give it the 'f' sound. Herein lies the beauty.

DG is scholarly and well exposed so no doubt it 's a matter of pride to him . I was just highlighting that our difference may at times be funny to each other
