Is this the weakest batting pool Oz have ever had going into an ashes series.
Having said that, England Bowling unit is not great either.

What Shamar did in Australia then continued in the West Indies rang alarm bells both in Australia and in England.

If we had a single batsman, the series would have been ours.

Yes, England though, have the best batting lineup in the world currently.

Aussie bowling is their main strength..... England side is very weak....both batting and bowling....too much dependent on Roots and Strokes....
. England bowling...too unpredictable, inexperienced and untested....
Tough, very tough series for England...

I giving them one test if Josh or Wood comes up with something special and Root and Brook do their thing. However the consistency of the Oz bowling attack with Boland as back up is too much to overcome in Australia. 4-1.

Just can't get away from the thought that this is one of the weakest oz lineups in decades.
Reminds me of a time when we used to say "Lara out and add 30"
Beginning to go that way now with Smith for them.

However I do agree that England Bowling will have to improve hugely to take advantage especially without the swing of the Dukes.

They need to just do what Shamar did, pace at top of off.

My understanding... Cummins,Starc,Hazelwood,Lyon will have field day against this English batting.... very weak..... against India, England was lucky to get away 2-2.....I see 5-0.... Mccullum Waterloo.....
