Instead, the Barbadian batter has reportedly been offered a domestic contract by the Barbados Pride franchise following the recent regional draft.

Well, everything eventually has an end, but over the years Braithwaite has not improve his batting, going by the numbers he has declined

When you make comments like your first line you now see why yiu make more ppl hate Sammy. Not saying they won't hate but some things better left unsaid.


With that Kraig spot could be given to someone else like Andrew, Bidasse any other young youths out there.
Braithwaite was really adding anything to WI in improving so the team csn be seen as moving forward.

How can any player with more than the single option, ever work for these guys.

He’s only 32, and had among the best records in recent times for a West Indian

At 32, his best years could still be ahead of him

That said, at this stage he could have been averaging at least 40. So if he’s dropped, he can’t really blame anyone but himself

Even with this bad form he's in, nobody else is threatening his position.

Not sure if I agree with this decision. The cupboard is very bare and he has been a long-standing servant. Perhaps one more year should have been given to see if he could get it right.

Maybe some sort of batting clinic to help him regain confidence as well. He's still only 32.

My hope is that his replacements are better than KB, he is not the most talented, but he was the best you had.
