Who will this young man learn from in this batting line up? This is one of our brightest youngster playing in a team of which he is expected to carry the weight of the batting. What are our youngsters gaining from CPL? What is West Indies cricket gaining from CPL?

He has to produce , pressure make Great player. Ask Virat, VIV and Lara.

So far he looks good to 2 shots against the pacers and then struggle against spin

Ok they have relieved him of the gloves so that should help. Andries Gous is the wiketkeeper who is handy with the bat too.

Somebody got to work on getting him to line up his head with the ball. He falls over. Even when playing on middle stump, his head leans to the right.

Agree. He needs a personal coach to work with him. Don't rely on the WI or CPL coaches.

He has to work on getting traded to Amazon Warriors. They must have their eyes on him as he represented them in the Global League recently. There are more experienced batters there who can nurture him. As long as Falcons maintain the same CEO and management, they have no where to go. As I have said before when I looked at the team and designation of players, only Gore was listed as a pure batter. All the others were all rounders, bowlers and Jewel was listed as wicketkeeper.

He played well for his 40. That was a top catch to dismiss him by his U-19 colleague Mckenny Clarke. Liked the way he dealt with Narine. His spin playing will improve with experience.

He gave it away! Should have watched a couple of deliveries before going for it.

However I must say they finally got it right with the opening pair and had their first 50 opening pship of the tournament. Jangoo for Cornwakk should have happened a long time ago and now Shakib can play with more freedom.
