Either Patriots or Falcons...

Like Motara, he is warming the bench... CPL is definitely not for young talent.

On a side note I think McKenzie should be with the WI U19 squad that's preparing for the series against Sri Lanka. At this time it would be better for him.... Jewel Andrew should join him too.

Some of the breakout league players that have performed creditably so far are:

Gore
Bedaissie
Gaston
Clarke did well for TKR yesterday

The first 2 mentioned have been particularly impressive.

SLK. Patience. Sammy will unearth this gem when the time is right. I suspect he is waiting for the TNT and Guyana legs where the pitches tend to favor spin.

You cussin Patriots for not playing young players yet in the same breath givin sammy a pass while he continues to pick Shamsi?

Your slavish devotion to Sammy is akin to MAGA’s to Trump

He’s had one opportunity so far. Came to the crease in a pressure situation, scored 12 runs in 3 balls and took a good catch.

Did not get the opportunity to bowl.

For his debut performance in CPL, he did well. You can disagree if you want.

Auguste and Gaston are both young players and they have started every game.\

Shamsi is crap but he is not going to start Mckenzie over the more experienced Overseas player who is being paid a lot be in the team. Give him credit as one overseas player Potgeiter is now on the bench after consecutive failures. To Shamsi's credit he had a good game vs TKR 3 overs 1/21 after bad first outing so he has not given him reason to drop him.

Anybody can hit 2 consecutive sixes. He was not called on to bowl, so you should ask your boy Nicky Poo why he did not bowl the Lucian as that is what he was essentially picked for. Instead he relied on an obviously over-weight and unfit Andre Russell to carry the donkey load.

4-0-38-2 on a pitch where 180 is the par score?

I’ll take that “donkey load” from the allegedly “over weight & unfit” Russell every time in that situation.

Which is rich coming from someone that supports Rakheem Cornwall.

Poetic Karma that you support a team that has both Cornwall and Oshane Thomas in its ranks.

Never supported Oshame, Cornwall has always been overweight. Russell on the other hand has put on weight over time and I don't see him holding up a season, if he is going to be asked to bowl. 10 an over when the team was restricted to 165, but the 2 wickets helped him. Nothing spectacular to not bowl Mckenny and to consider his fitiness problems you wil bowl him the 4 overs when he appeared to have pulled up in the 1st over?

All I could say he lucky that Tim David was controversially given out.
