A good season here and the leagues will come calling.

Does he want to represent the West Indies, and more importantly play tests, or will he go the IPL way

Jediah Blades to Ackeem Auguste, out Caught by McDermott!! He's picked out the man. Short and wide, hit me ball, Auguste frees his arms for a slap. Went hard, no intentions to keep it down but the problem was he didn't place it right. The sweeper moved to the left and pouched a comfortable catch to cut short Auguste's great stay. He was a dream to watch. The shot selection, the timing.. everything was so pure about him today. Shame he missed out on a hundred. Ackeem

Auguste c McDermott b Jediah Blades 73(35) [4s-6 6s-4]

superb knock

Actually as an age group cricketer he has always had the natural ability to play spin

Real sorry i missed this innings. I figure if Auguste makes runs they are going to be classy runs

Last match against the Knightriders I saw him do two consecutive offdrives against Amir and thought this guy has potential. In this match he showed that potential - finally a WI player who has some aptitude against both pace AND spin!

I think Jewel also has potential but has to work on his technique against spin to become a better all-round player...he is still young so with the right motivation and opportunities he can make it

Don't count out Athanaze if he can get his head right.

I feel it for Athanaze - caught between a rock and the deep blue see.

Rated above the need to have played in the breakout league, yet not from the home of a franchise team nor regarded as deserving to start before international pros.

But I'd have love to see him as a regular in the CPL

Does he not play on a CPL team whose head coach is the same person as the West Indies head coach and chief selector in every facet of senior men’s cricket in the region?

I can only imagine allyuh comments towards DJ Bravo if he was playing for TKR.

But Sammy? He gets not just a pass, but a freeway.

I understand the obsession, but is this about Sammy?

Mun just be happy for DJ Bravo and what he can do for WI cricket. Steups

Look before you speak. Athanaze plays with the Patriots

That is why I do not support SKN Patriots. Athanaze should be opening for this team or at least one down. I think he played 2-3 games where he batted at 5 with a 37*.
