Apart from the fact that he has not played any competitive cricket in 2 years but you do not want to disrupt the dynamics of the dressing room with a PD. Also you have a young Auguste and of course Athanaze both good southpaw talents so invest in them instead. If you want you can bring back Jason Holder instead but please no Bravo. Let him go and play regionals.

If Sammy even hinted at Bravo's return I declare that Jeffrey Dujon was genius in calling for his sacking and join yhe chirus.

Yes, investing in Athanaze and Carty (in tests) did wonders for the Haynes selection committee. Athanaze probably does not even have 2 double digit scores in a single test as yet. Carty's average is in the dustbin. But by all means, do not bring back Bravo who topped batting in 50 over and was second in FC cricket and led his team undefeated in the 50 over competition with some very good captaincy and handling of his bowlers. By all means, why would WI ever want someone like him back? After all, we are blessed with many men who can score double centuries in a fourth innings abroad. ooops, I meant just the 00s without the 2. big grin

Bravos average has been on a downward trajectory/

Carry and athanaze are young, bravo is well past his prime. What more can you get out of him now?

Some idiotic decisions messed up what could have been a very good career

That’s the truth.

VOR doesn't want a Bravo to disrupt the chemistry of the celebrated Team 27!

Yet who has not played any form of competitive cricket in 2 years! Guess you missed that part!

Jason Holder has a similar batting average and he can bowl!

Man, I am agreeing with you. Don't bring him back. AS Brians da best said, his test average was on a downward trajectory ... even though it is still almost twice that of Athanaze and a man who could top your FC and Super50 batting must obviously be past his prime. Stick to Sammy's 27. That is the stuff that they will be making Anime movies of in the future!

Yes bring him back with these last 10 test scores:

6,0 18, 2,4 ,23*,9,12,7,4

He will fit right in with the 27 you keep reminding us of!

No just showing you how hypocritical you are ridiculing a squad that made 27 all out and championing a Batsman who averaged 12 in his last 10 innings to join that same squad. lol

6,0 18, 2,4 ,23*,9,12,7,4

a Batsman who averaged 12 in his last 10 innings to join that same squad. lol

These two sentences do not match up.
If this is truly his last 10 innings, they must total 108.
Cause 108 divided by 9 equals 12.
Divided by 9 as there was a not out in the 10 innings.
My calculations is 96,
thus the average is 11, rounded up.

What am I missing?

This makes zero sense to me. What “team dynamics” are you referring to? We just got bowled out for the second lowest total ever in Test cricket, unable to put any sort of score on the board to give our bowlers a chance. For the first time in a long while, we actually have a bowling unit capable of taking 20 wickets consistently in a Test match. Why are we denying them the opportunity by fielding such a fragile batting lineup?

Darren Bravo, I welcome you back.
Sammy, in the best interest of West Indies cricket, please bring him back as soon as possible.
