Remember my first trip to Barbados in 1973, my Barbadian friend/co worker is telling myself and 2 ladies from St Lucia about standing under the ackee tree. My first reaction was, where is this ackee tree ? When he pointed to the tree, I broke out "thats not an ackee tree, thats a guinep tree". They all looked at me with a puzzled look.
