Trinbago Knight Riders have won the toss and have opted to field
Nicholas Pooran:
We'll bowl first, surely because of the dew and we prefer to chase. Very pleased with the performances so far, we are getting better with each game. We are always ready for this game, the energy is there and we love this game too much. One change - Ali Khan is out.

Imran Tahir:
Toss wasn't in our control but would have preferred to bowl first as well. We know the conditions and we need to adapt quickly here. Really proud with the way we have played our cricket, last game we were a bit lapse. Looking forward to today and this atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the Guyana Amazon Warriors are in fourth place, with two wins from their three matches. Their only loss so far was a high-scoring thriller where they failed to defend a massive 202 runs against the St Lucia Kings. The head to head stats don't make that much difference between these two teams; the Knight Riders won thrice and the Warriors won twice in the last five matches between them. It's a new day and a new environment, and both teams are looking strong and ready for this contest. This promises to be a breathtaking encounter, so fingers crossed the weather stays in our favor!

The Knight Riders are currently flying high at the top of the table with 8 points from 5 matches. A win today would help them extend that lead. They're coming into this match on a quick turnaround, having played last night, where they secured a dominant seven-wicket win against the Barbados Royals.

Amir to McDermott, FOUR runs

McKenny Clarke drops a sitter! Length ball darted on the stumps, McDermott charges down the track and whips it away towards deep backward square leg, Clarke did not have to move there, tries to grab it with the reverse cup technique. The ball bursts through his hands and reaches the ropes.

Amir to Motie, out Caught by Pollard!! This wicket was always coming! Motie was tentative throughout and is now gone. A length ball that shapes away outside off, Motie tries to heave it across the line but gets a leading edge that goes high in the air for backward point to settle under it. Amir gives the batter quite an animated send-off

A tad short of a length ball around off, moves away from the wicket to make room, attempts to whack it over the covers, struck it straight to the long off fielder near the ropes.
