On what basis do you rate him so high.
No centuries at any level
No 5 wicket hauls at aby level.
Any level means First Class, List A, of T20.
He is nearly 27 yars old.

It's not an excuse... didn't the man bat in the top 4 in the first 2 matches and scored runs? Why change that?
Last match they dropped him to 5 now its 6... every year its the same crap.
Added to that Hetty is a proven CPL performer... he failed last year?

To be fair, Hetty should claim a spot in the order and stick to it. With Shepherd in the back end it would make sense in the top 3.

His batting average at 3 or 4 in CPL is higher but not much higher than his overall average of just under 27.
He came in to bat today with 2 balls to go in the 9th over. He had time and overs in his favour.
He left before the 10th over started.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this from Hetmeyer. Not even close.
I get he’s a hero to many Guyanese, and most thing he’s special. Given his start in. International cricket, I understand the hype.
But after that initial burst, he’s failed to deliver much more often than not.
As I said…..At some point…..you got to stop making excuses.

Twist it and turn it all yuh want thats where the dude should be batting in the team... how many players in the CPL averaging 29 at 3 or 4 in so many matches?

Why have Shepherd and Hetty playing the same role.
