Saint Lucia Kings have won the toss and have opted to field

David Wiese:
We are going to bowl first today. Just conditions, being a day game, not sure what the pitch will do, there might be something in it in the morning, hopefully it flattens out in the afternoon. Our batting has been the strong point for us this season, it is nice when the guys are standing up and putting up performances, but we have to be versatile. We have got two changes - Alzarri is fit again and is back, Delano is also back.

Imad Wasim:
It is a good wicket to bat on. Runs on the board is always important. Just saw the wicket, it looks nice and anything over 170 would be a good score. Odean is coming in for Obed, we need firepower at the end, Rahkeem is unfortunately resting. Just don't lose wickets in cluster, have the same intent and hopefully today is the day we play our A game. I am alright (referring to his quad injury from the last game), you have to play for the team, take one for the team and I am strong enough to play.

Pitch and Conditions:
"It is scorching hot. It is 30 degrees but it feels a lot warmer than that. It is going to be tough conditions. Square boundaries are fairly identical - 62 and 63 meters, 72 meters down the ground. The spinners have been very effective at this venue. An area around good length is slightly discolored. It is going to be a little on the lower and slower side today," reckons Niall O'Brien

Wiese to Jewel Andrew, FOUR, nicely done! Nothing wrong with the delivery - back of a length around off, Andrew opens the bat face and guides it behind square on the off-side, right between backward point and short third

Shamsi to Jewel Andrew, out Caught by Ackeem Auguste!! Shamsi strikes first ball. He celebrates in his typical style by removing a boot and dialing the phone. Flighted and the wind gets the ball to drift away, Andrew looks to loft down the ground and gets it right off the bottom

Gawn @!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!great catch Chase

6.2
Shamsi to Karima Gore, out Caught by Roston Chase!! Two in two. Shamsi is on a hat-trick. The in-form Gore is gone for a golden duck. The home crowd are delighted and so is Shamsi. He slips in the googly first up and Gore does not pick it, he goes for the drive and gets a thick outside edge, the ball flies to the right of slip and Chase shows good reflexes to take a sharp catch. That ball was travelling but Chase moved quickly and took it with both hands.

that's a poor delivery. Shamsi knows that. Low full toss down leg, would have been a wide had Shakib let go, but he crouches low and helps it along to the fine leg fence

6.4
Shamsi to Shakib, FOUR, streaky! Shakib attempts the reverse sweep, gloves it the first time and the ball hits the back of the bat during the followthrough, lobs past Seifert and races away

9.6
Roston Chase to Shakib, SIX, back to back sixes. This is excellent batting. Shakib uses his feet this time, gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it straight down the ground, sends the ball bouncing in front of the sightscreen
9.5
Roston Chase to Shakib, SIX, that should release the pressure. Couple of quiet overs and the pressure was building, but Shakib backs away and gets under this flighted delivery, smokes it all the way over deep mid-wicket
