One will be going to the Polls tomorrow and the other on Wednesday.I have never voted in either and I hope that the people of Guyana and Jamaica choose wisely. Both countries seem riddled with corruption and incompetence and I hope that the people hold their politicians accountable and elect people who will do the right thing for the country.

BEST OF LUCK GUYANA!!!

BEST OF LUCK JAMAICA!!!!!

One question re the elections in Guyana. Has Venezuela made an official statement challenging any voting in the territory they lay claim to?

Why question any info from social media, it is the gospel right?

That being said the law in Guyana, always has been, is that any Commonwealth citizen living in Guyana for a year can register and vote in Gy.

Looks like it's will be a close one...based on the SOPs that people released so far, sanctions man eating into APNU votes in Region 10 and 4... they taking some from PPP in Region 1 too.

I think the current Government will win but it will most likely be a minority Government.

Sanctions man will be the opposition leader.

HOW?
How can anyone vote for the sanctions man?
People are easily fooled.

If my instincts are correct, he’s working with the current gov. Smoke and mirrors. If not, he would be spending a lot of time with 3 humble meals a day and 24 hours security in a small space.

The data and extrapolation does not point to a close elections.

-Meeting crowds
-Many cross overs to the government side
-Government exceeding their campaign promises by far
-The reduction of race based voting, mixed relationships etc
-The networth increase of most Guyanese - see how much home ownership and vehicle has increased

Extrapolation suggests the Gov't will be returned to power with around 40 seats.

The sad part is the sanctioned party could get a few seats.

Partner if you're on social media check out Melly Mel Facebook page... as soon as a polling agent sends in a SOP she's posting it.

De man eating into APNU traditional areas... it looks like he will win Region 1 too which usually goes to the PPP.

Nothing from Region 6 as yet.. waiting to see if he made any inroads there... ah doubt it though.
