TRUMP'S NIGHTMARE! Mark Carney's Maritime Move Destroyed America's $3 Billion Industry

Canada teaches Trump about economics in its territorial waters about fishing.

PM Carney makes a strategic move that Trump cannot win: America's 3 billion dollar fishing industry in Canada's rich fishing ground of the East Coast Atlantic.

Canada is responding to Trump's tariffs; as a former governor and central banker, he is using economics and environmental laws to hurt Trump...

Trump SHOCKED as Canada Buys Submarines from Germany -

Billions Slip Away from the U.S.Don’t forget that Norway gave the UK a £10bn for 5 warships that track submarines ie Russian!, the USA didn’t win this order although they quoted for it.

This is what happens when, on one side you have Mark Carney who graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University in 1987 before studying at the University of Oxford, where he earned a master's degree in economics in 1993 and a doctorate in economics in 1995. He then held a number of roles at the investment bank Goldman Sachs, before joining the Bank of Canada as a deputy governor in 2003, later as governor. Was hired as the central banker for the Bank of England. On the other side you have Trump who was enrolled at Fordham University in 1964, his junior year he transferred to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in May 1968 with just a Bachelor of Science in economics claiming to be a top student with honours but he does not appear in any list of those receiving honours and then of course his great successes going

Don the Con strikes again with his wannabe gangster style of negotiating deals. Ten's of billions of navy sub contracts most likely will go to Thiessen Krupp marine of Germany and will create much needed jobs in Canada with technology transfer and license to build in Canada. So a huge huzzah to the Orange Stain and thank you for waking us up to better and MORE reliable trade and military relationships with other allies. We couldn't have done it without you

America uses tariffs; Canada uses alternatives.

.........

Canada has 85% of its trade tariff-free under the CUSMA

The rest, when averaged, is about 6% with America.

So, the tariffs on Canada and other countries are ruled illegal. In the meantime, Canada amongst others are opening up alternative markets. No one wants to deal with a bully.

American liquor is nowhere to be found in Ontario liquor stores. There are all sorts of other examples. Once consumer habits change it's hard to win them back.

I hope this is a better buy than the last 2 submarines bought from the British. About 20 years ago the British had 2 subs they were decommissioning and Canada bought them, I would say, sight unseen. I say that cuz the 2 subs were rust buckets that no military should have subjected their forces to sail in on top of the sea, much less underneath it. Canada spent about $400 million retrofitting the subs and one of the bloody things almost sank on its maiden voyage and the crew had to be rescued from another of the coast of Newfoundland not long after being put out to sea, as it caught fire and the sub become full of smoke. When those military men surfaced it was a surprise that the sub was even able to float much less re-surface when it went under, given the size of some of those crew members. It is a continued mystery as to how some of those crew members made it up the conning tower and out the hatch.
