Ngidi to Root, out Caught by Rickelton!! superb delivery from Ngidi gets rid of an in-form Joe Root!! Pitched slightly fuller than a good length, shapes away after pitching and takes the edge as Root tried to nurdle it away. Lovely catch by Rickelton diving low to his right. As he thuds onto the ground the ball lobs out, but Rickelton was quick to gobble it up once again before the ball hit the ground. A one-handed grab to send back the English batter! Root c Rickelton b Ngidi 14(17) [4s-3]

0.5
Sonny Baker to Markram, FOUR, overcorrects and bowls it full and wide of off stump
0.4
Sonny Baker to Markram, FOUR, that was asking to be smashed! Short and sits up in the zone outside off, Markram stands tall and crunches it square on the off-side for his second boundary
0.3
Sonny Baker to Markram, 2 runs, short of length on off, Markram sits back and pushes gently down the ground. The timing was good enough to get it past short mid-wicket to his left for a couple of runs
0.2
Sonny Baker to Markram, FOUR, 138ks inswinger on a length, Markram manages a tiny tickle off the bat and beats the diving keeper to his left

Jofra Archer to Rickelton, no run, Has that carried? Looks like it has gone on the bounce and Rickelton could be safe here. Root has got his fingers underneath when the ball popped up or has it? The umpire has asked for a zoomer and there is a frame which clearly shows that the ball made contact with the ground. Just for a fleeting second. Not out. The crowd are booing the verdict. Rickelton poked with hard hands and the outside edge flew low to the left of Root at first slip. He put in the forward dive and did really well to grab it, but it touched the ground for a fraction of a second before settling in his palms...

Jofra Archer to Rickelton, no run, huge appeal for leg before and England decide against the review. Guess what! It is three reds on ball tracker. Hitting the top of leg stump. Pitched in line with leg stump and nipped back just enough to beat the inside edge of Rickelton. Hit him on the front pad and England did not look keen on the review

This debut just not going well for Barker.

Following his golden duck, he now has conceded 34 runs in his 1st 2 overs.

The pitch transformation between innings is simply amazing.

While the (BazBall) Pommies got bundled out for a mere 131 runs on this bowler friendly Leeds pitch, their bowlers couldn't even get a single wicket on what seems to have transformed to a batting paradise.
