Trinbago Knight Riders are the only team so far to progress to the playoffs and they'll be in action tonight. With 6 wins in 8 matches, including four wins at home, they are sitting pretty at the top of the points table

When these two sides met earlier, TKR chased down GAW's 163 inside 18 overs.

Guyana Amazon Warriors have played just five matches and have blown hot and cold so far this season. Won their first two matches convincingly, lost the next two and then successfully chased down Barbados Royals' total in the final over of the match

Guyana Amazon Warriors have won the toss and have opted to field

Tahir:
We are gonna bowl. Fresh pitch, first game, we want to see how the pitch behaves. It's best to bowl first. We are trying to improve every game. We have a good record here at home. Keemo is in.

Pooran:
No thoughts on the pitch, first match here. Gives us an opportunity for our batters. We didn't bat properly in the last match. we spoke about that. It's very critical (to finish in the top-two). The finals are also going to be here, we get an opportunity to understand what the conditions are going to be like. We are looking forward, hopefully we can tick the boxes. One change, Keacy Carty is in and Terrance Hinds is out.

Pitch Report | Iam Bishop:
We are on the center pitch. It's very cool. The surface is very dry. You can see the baldness at the ends. As I go further down, you can see the outlines of the cracks. This surface was keeping a bit low and spinning a bit. I would be circumspect early on. As a batter, you have to work really hard.

Romario Shepherd: "We know how important away wins are for us. We would like more wins, but coming home with three is good for us because we all know how consistent we have been here in Guyana. [My Performance] I'm not satisfied because in two games, I could have done better. Especially in the last game with the bat, I should have finished that game, but in all, I had some good games with the bat, so I'm thankful for that. Hopefully, tonight presents another opportunity for me to go out there and get a few runs with the bat and also go well with the ball. [On the Rivalry with TKR] It's a big game because we all know how much this is for the fans and everyone who supports CPL. We will try and make it a tough game as possible. They got the better of us at home, so we are trying to repeat the favor and defend our homeland by getting a win here tonight. [Key to Victory] I think the opening partnership will be key, and they have three spinners who are key here in Guyana. So, once we can conquer the three spinners and get an early breakthrough, we need to try and get their middle order exposed as early as possible."

Pitch Report from Ian Bishop: "This rivalry deserves a center pitch, and we are on it. It's very cool out here now. Earlier in the day, it was about 29 to 31 degrees Celsius, but now it feels more like mid-20s. The surface itself is very dry. In the women's game that took place earlier, you could see the baldness of the pitch ends. The cracks are visible, as the sun has been beating down on it all day. So the surface was keeping a little bit low and spinning a little bit. Batters have to be very tight and circumspect initially, but it's still about boundary scoring. I can't say what a good score would be on this surface because it depends on how well the seamers and the spinners go. But I do know that as a batter, you have to work very hard in this huge rivalry here tonight."

Nicholas Pooran: "Honestly, no thoughts on the pitch. This is our first game here in the tournament, and it gives us an opportunity to get better. The last game we played in Trinidad, we didn't bat properly. We get another opportunity here, and we know the crowd is going to be loud, so we have to set the tone. [Top two finish] It's very critical for not only us but for everyone. We know the finals and playoffs are going to be here, and it's good that we are here and get an opportunity to understand what the conditions would be like. So we're looking forward to the opportunity, and hopefully, we can take it. We have one change. Kasey Carty is in, and Terrence Hinds is out."

Imran Tahir: "We want to bowl first. It's a fresh pitch, and it's our first game here, so we want to see how it behaves. There is a little bit of dew later on, which is always here, but we don't know for sure, as yesterday there wasn't any. But we just think that it's best to bowl first. We just need to stick to our game plan. Obviously, we haven't been good in a few departments, but that's how the game goes. We're trying to improve every day, wherever we travel, but especially coming home. Our record is good here, which means we've been playing really good cricket here. So that's something to look forward to, and we want to do the same thing when we are here. We have one change. Jediah Blades is out, and Keemo Paul is in."

Nicholas Pooran: "There's always pressure, regardless of whether you're a championship-winning team or you haven't won any. As individuals, we strive to win championships, and that in itself is a lot of pressure, but that's something we're going to embrace. As a player, you always have to stay in the present and know what's next. As a batsman, what has worked for me sometimes is being one step ahead of what's coming. But you need to be willing to come out of your comfort zone and change with the times to be successful. It's a proud feeling again for me, representing the people of Trinidad and Tobago and leading this really special team. Having the likes of Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, and all these guys on one team, and for us to come together and figure it out, the ultimate goal is to win a championship. But the process and the journey are something that we're going to remember for the rest of our lives, and these next couple of weeks are going to be really important for us. [On His Personal Journey] Things have changed a lot for me. I never saw myself at this level throughout my career. At a young age, I got into an accident, was banned from West Indies cricket, and then went around the leagues, learning and applying my trade. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of sacrifice. The most important thing is my support staff, my wife, my parents, Pollard, Russell, Sunil and Bravo. They stood by me when things fell apart. That is something that has helped me become the person I am today and the player I am. [On His Ultimate Goal] I'm just really happy that I can be in this position where now I can put smiles on people's faces, and the team in Trinidad and Tobago can show the world their talent. I'm really happy that I can also impact my community and give back as much as I can."

Pretorius to Munro, out Caught by Keemo Paul!! Pretorius has the last laugh. Conceded three boundaries in the over but removes Munro off the final ball of the over. The change of pace does the trick. Slower ball on a short of length, Munro's timing isn't spot-on as he plays an aerial shot. Miscues the loft and hits it straight down Paul's throat at long-on
