I blame Sarwan for this disrespect!

“Oh my IPL ended prematurely, you know, with Punjab to be honest with you. Yeah, I mean absolutely, I mean I was disrespected in the franchise, Punjab Kings XI. You know, I felt like I wasn’t being treated properly for a senior guy done so much for the league, you know, bring so much value to the franchise as well. And then you’re being disrespected and they treat you like a kid, you know, and then pretty much I’m just like I felt like the building was on my shoulder. That’s the first time in my life I ever felt like a depression mode. So when people speak about depression, I can get a little sense of that and it wasn’t for me,"

“So I called him and had a one-on-one talk to him, you know, actually breakdown as well, literally a breakdown when I was talking to him because I was really hurt. Oh yeah I cried and I was disappointed with Anil and how the entire thing was actually run, the franchise was actually run at that time and I said listen man thank you. KL Rahul was the captain, he called me and said, “Yo Chris, you know, you want to stay, you’ll play the next game.” And I said listen to me man I wish you guys all the very best. I just packed my bag and I walked out,"

Preity Zinta tried to help.....bu fellow co-owners Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman are crooks

Preity Zinta is a co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket franchise, the Punjab Kings. She co-owns the team through KPH Dream Cricket Private Limited and, in May 2025, took legal action against fellow co-owners Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman over alleged irregularities concerning an extraordinary general meeting (EGM). The lawsuit seeks to declare the meeting's decisions, including the appointment of a new director, void.

I remember this CLEARLY

many of us were commenting on KL Rahul riding Gayle coattails and playing a run a ball 40 and 50 while the UB and the rest had to fire
Lazy and selfish KL
And he was opening or one dung

Sarwan is a finesse shots maker cricketer, so IPL wasn’t his strength - IPL, CPL more suited for cowlashers and pinch hitters.., Hety is a good batsman and is trying to lash 6s and the process being out cheaply…. my take big grin

Sars in form was my favourite batsman of his era. He was so smooth once he was not tempted to hook.

This explains why Kings XI haven't won anything as yet...the only franchise still around to have not done so.

That is absolute rubbish .there are finesse players who've done very well at the ipl. Tendulkar, steve smith, aiden makram, kane williamson etc sarwan's last ipl was in 2009.....the year before the west indies appointed the ugly man as coach and Ted Lasso I as captain. after which sarwan was targeted.....the same as everyone associated with CG(bravo never played another test match, despite being the best allrounder since sobers), chanderpaul was threatened with expulsion until he dropped a legal letter, ramdin was dropped for the 2011 world cup in favor of that talentless spot fixer from antigua, jerome taylor was ignored etc...........the best performers for the west indies the previous year, 2009

sarwan only batted 16 times in t20s. of those times, he batted as an opener 7 times and his average in that position is 56. as i told you and will tell you again....tendulkar, williamson, aiden makram and steve smith are all touch players. Marlon Nathaniel Samuels is a touch player and he played the greatest innings in t20 history. they are all very successful in t20 cricket. Sarwan would have been a very successful t20 player if the windward islands hydra and the ugly man had not messed up gayle and his careers....and of course their associates

sarwan's 2006 stanford final againt the TT team that went on to change t20 cricket
