VOR's T20I team for Nepal series.

With most of the regular players unavailable due to the closeness of the Nepal and Indian series a lot of new faces will have to be tried.

Jason Holder I expect to be in the test squad but if not he will be in this team. Carty, Athanaze and Rutherford may well be in the test squad too and if so their replacements will be interesting. Looks like Johnson Charles, Kyle Mayers and another may well get a call up.

Why not give Silva and Kofi James a chance instead of going back to Johnson Charles and Mayers? And why not Shamar Springer if JaHo has hinted his way into the test side? let us make the Breakout League count for something as none of the players who performed best in that league are getting any real chance to shine in CPL except perhaps for Bidassie. I would also go for Layne instead of Blades. We already have Simmonds and Edwards

The tour will be in Sharjah. Unless you are saying the players will not be able to leave because of the protests.

Still…..given the news reports coming out of Nepal, cricket will be one of the last things on people’s minds there.

Cricket could be an inspiration being a historical tour. Could be a necessary distraction from the difficult times. However I understand if it gets canceled but doubt it. The Nepal team is probably already in Sharjaha preparing for the tour.
