This Should Be The Last Season For GAW

Skipper Imran Tahir
He got over the line for the warriors, well done.
Time to look forward to a new leader.

I’m thinking Shai Hope.
Another option would be if Rutherford becomes a warrior next season and be given the leadership. He’s a calm player.

Hetty? Possible with the right mentor holding him accountable.

I also want to question the ownership…are they giving GAW all the tools necessary to win championships, with an ‘s’
I know it’s a business and you want to maximize profits, this however is a single entity that keeps the Caribbean close. Geopolitical importance.

BS if you can’t go all out, give it up!

GAW looks like the most ill prepared disorganize, no cohesion in any fasset of the game, they absolutely have no idea who is to bat where, this is solely on management

The squad has been mismanaged. Who makes those decisions.
Local talent Kevlon fails gets dropped
Foreign talents failing, keeps going…WTF

Some changes needs to be made next year regardless of how GAW does in their remaining matches.

I expected them to retain Tahir, Moeen and Pretorius this year, and they initially added Glenn Phillips and Hasan Khan to complete their overseas quota. Unfortunately Philips got injured and was replaced by McDermott.

I do not see how Hasan Khan fits in this team, but someone in management (Tahir probably) thinks highly of him. He is basically a bits and pieces t20 player and he is not a umber 5 batter. A specialist batter in place of Hasan have served this team better. The team has one too many bits and pieces players. Keemo fits that description as well.

Motie bowling one over one match, Hassan bowling over Motie. Pretorius not bowling a 4th over against the Falcons. All questionable decisions by Tahir.

The XI they played the last few games looks like their best XI given the conditions at Providence. They just have to play better. Consideration could be given to playing Shamar in place of Keemo.

Despite the losses, GAW needs 1 win to qualify for the playoffs, 2 wins gives them a good shot at a top 2 finish, more so if TKR loses tomorrow.

I will let hope play freely. He is already the skipper in the international set up. I will give the captaincy to shepherd. Seem like the only local player with a hunger, passion , commitment to the game.

Should also be considered to be the next West Indies skipper!!

I think it’s the team analyst from India making all these weird decisions based on data rolleyes

I’m still positive they’re going to win the championship because it’s their last year hosting the Finals for now!!!

Is that the Indian dude with the long hair who's always sitting next to Lance Klusener?

Wasn't he also the same guy who was taking credit for "finding" Shamar Joseph after he shot to stardom?

A lot of these analytics dudes know sweet fcuk all about the game but every sport seems to have bought into power of the almighty algorithm to make team and tactical decisions.

That's the same dude. De man is the one that controls things.

He was saying the other day he does be in the nets fixing whatever weakness the players got. lol

He does be here way before the coach too... directing things.

On a side note.. the President also said on air that he discovered Sampson.. ah had to laugh. Ah don't know why these fellas try to take credit for everything. Sampson was well know to people who follow cri ket in Guyana years now. lol

I think Shepherd may feel burdened and can affect his performance.
